On March 27, 2024, Nicholas E. Froning, Esq, partner of Koblentz, Penvose & Froning was asked to present on a panel to Cleveland State University School of Law first year students (1L) on his path to practice and law school experience. The panel was well rounded with practitioners from various areas of law, including, but not limited to, landlord-tenant, personal injury, tax and estate planning, workers compensation, ethics and professional responsibility (character and fitness), criminal defense and business/construction litigation.

The moot court room was full of 1L students who were invited to question the panelists and glean insight into gaining experience and advise for their paths to practice.

Nick was able to discuss with the students his practice area of Ethics and Professional Responsibility wherein he represents licensed practitioners (lawyers, doctors, nurses, educators, etc) and those seeking licenses (Law Students and Ohio Character and Fitness, Nurses, Doctors, etc).

The key takeaway from Nick, and other practitioners, was to be active in Northeast Ohio’s legal community and network, reconnect and maintain relationships within our legal and general communities.
