Time to Start! Your guide to Free Ohio Attorney CLEs
As we head towards the end of the first quarter of 2024, the last thing anyone is thinking about is starting to find and attend Ohio Continuing Legal Education Courses required of Ohio licensed lawyers.
But, it is not too early to start searching out and attending Ohio credited CLE seminars that you find interesting or that will bolster your legal practice. Waiting, till November 2024, as we tend to do, causes us to have to sit through CLE seminars that have nothing to do with our practice and/or practice area.
As an Ohio licensed lawyer, you must complete 24 hours of accredited CLE every 2 years. This year, lawyers with the last names M -Z have to report their hours by December 31, 2024. Now is the time to start attaining the required credit hours.

Another change this year is the PMBR (Proactive Management-Based Regulation) which will require lawyers to indicate having malpractice or not……. MORE TO COME ON THIS TOPIC
