Giving back to the Legal Profession! Ohio State Bar Association and Toledo College of Law
On October 4, 2023, Nick Froning from our firm, who engages in representations of law students through the Ohio Character and Fitness Process, was able to take a day from the office and volunteer with the Ohio State Bar Association through an opportunity to address and speak to students of The University of Toledo College of Law about his experiences in law school, the legal profession and how civic engagement (such as the OSBA) and networking are important.
Nick presented with other volunteers and distinguished members of the Ohio legal profession including Toledo Municipal Court Clerk Vallie Bowman-English, Ohio Assistant Attorney General, Rick Baum, and Litigator, Rusty Miller.
The room was full of 1L-3L’s who were attentive throughout the event. The students were engaging asking great questions and seeking to network during the individual Q &A Session. Nick commented “that it is rewarding to get involved, give back and more exciting to see the future of our legal profession”.
Thank you to Toledo Law School (Katie Schuyler & Abby Youngpeter) and special thanks to the O.S.B.A. Should you wish to get involved, please contact Jeremy Naylor, Manager of New Member Outreach ([email protected]).
